Meet the Maestro: Paavo Järvi

Following up his performance at Carnegie Hall that received rave reviews from The New York Times, Estonian Grammy-Award winning conductor Paavo Järvi is coming to Toronto. This is your chance to meet him in person! Between Järvi’s three performances with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO), Estonian Museum Canada / VEMU and EMW are hosting an evening in conversation with the maestro himself.
Join us for a live interview moderated by broadcaster and writer Tom Allen followed by Q&A and a reception. A welcome will be given by TSO board chair Tom Smee. Enjoy a short musical interlude with Estonian-Canadian pianist Erik Kreem performing works by Tõnu Kõrvits, Arvo Pärt and Heino Eller. Meet another star of TSO’s Arvo Pärt Night, composer Tõnu Kõrvits.
