Bio:
Warren Pinto is currently a business consultant at Capgemini Canada. He has a Masters degree in Marketing & Consumer studies from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Manitoba.
His academic research conceptualises the idea of “branding” a nation for foreign direct investment. He uses Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania’s governmental campaigns as context to explore how the idea of pan-Baltic collaboration may increase national brand equity and yield higher foreign investment. His research sheds light on how transition nations promote themselves as newer countries to the world, or “new nation brands” in a global marketplace.
Warren Pinto was awarded the Estonian Studies Centre Scholarship in 2014.
