Thursday, August 8 at 7pm, Toivo Tänavsuu will give a MÜ City Lecture on the topic Plahvatuslikult head tegev Eesti: Vähiravifond Kingitud Elu fenomenaalne teekond viie aastaga Eesti suurimaks heategevusfondiks. 

Toivo also spoke at VEMU in 2014 when the charity was just beginning work.

About the lecture:

Over the last five years charity work and donations have significantly increased in Estonia. Why and how has this happened? One of the reasons is the creation of the cancer cure charity Kingitud Elu, which was established in 2014 as a result of journalist Hille Tänavsuu’s difficult illness. Since then, the charity has collected over $12 million CAD to help over 800 cancer patients in Estonia ages 6-83 years.
