This year’s Ööbik Simmaree will be exceptional – Ööbik Folk will take us back to coffeehouse get togethers of the 60s. The choir’s 30th anniversary concert is taking place at the Tranzac Club, a short walk away from Tartu College. We have prepared a fun and engaging program with choral arrangements of popular songs, solo performances and much more. Our special guests are the well-known community band Kalveipogues, who will be performing their renditions of folk as well as accompanying the choir. The show will be unique – warm up your voices because there will be chances to sing along!

Tickets are limited. Through Eventbrite, regular price tickets are $35 and student tickets are $25 (+tax). At the venue tickets are $45 and $35, respectively.

Doors open at 7 PM and the concert will begin at 7:30 PM. The Tranzac Club has a bar but they do not offer food or snacks so we recommend grabbing dinner before the show. There are various popular restaurants near the venue, such as Future Bistro, RAFFAELLA, Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar and more.

If you are driving, the nearest Green P parking lot is located at 351 Lippincott St with another Green P parking lot located at 4 Spadina Rd, a 6-minute walk away from the Tranzac Club. If you are taking the TTC, the nearest subway stations are Bathurst and Spadina.

The Tranzac Club is wheelchair and mobility device accessible.
