VEMU, Metsaülikool (Forest University) and EstDocs will be Participating in the Annex Family Festival
This year marks the 21st year of the Annex Family Festival. The Festival that takes place along Bloor St. between Bathurst and Spadina, is organized by the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre and the Bloor Annex Business Improvement Area. The event features a diverse cultural program that is suitable for the whole family, while also providing opportunities to shop and have a bite to eat.
The VEMU, MÜ (Forest University), and EstDocs information table will be introducing Estonia, Canadian-Estonians, and their various ventures to Torontonians. During the Festival from 10am-6pm, Tartu College will be open to those who wish to view the “Metsaülikool 50” exhibit. In addition, short films including a chronicle of how Tartu College was built, Kaja and Tiit Telmet’s wedding at MÜ in 1974, and short documentaries from the EstDocs film competition will be screened.
