A Kopvillem Family Musical Tribute

While we have celebrated Olaf Kopvillem’s centennial throughout the year, 2026 also marks 10 years since his son, musician and journalist Peeter Kopvillem passed away. Come and celebrate the work of these talented, witty, sarcastic and inventive musicians at Tartu College on Saturday, Nov 7 at 7pm.

Continuing on from the two memorial concerts held in Estonia for Peeter Kopvillem in 2016 at KUMU Art Museum of Estonia and in 2018 at Viru Folk Festival, join us this time in Toronto to hear both Peeter and Olaf’s music performed by people who played and sang with Peeter, including Eric Soostar, Tõnis Tõllasepp, Aarne Tork, daughters Leiki and Keila Kopvillem, and surprise guests.
