Barbara Habib’s lecture “An Introduction to the Baltic Germans of Canada”

On Wedensday, November 12th, 2014, 7 pm at Tartu College Barbara Habib is going to give a lecture on the topic An Introduction to the Baltic Germans of Canada.

History has always been Barbara’s favorite subject. She studied history in Germany and came to Canada as a scholarship student in 1956, continuing her studies at McMaster University. She worked as a librarian, archivist and curator of a small museum. For the last 2 years she has given history lectures for the LIFE Institute at Ryerson University. The history of the Baltic States is of particular interest to her.
