On Wednesday, February 3rd at 7 pm at Tartu College, Mati Otsmaa will be giving a lecture on the topic: How to Succeed as an Estonian Start-up in the Silicon Valley.

Bio:

Mati Otsmaa is a seasoned business professional with success in launching companies and developing new products globally. Mati has served in senior marketing capacities for Fortune 500 corporations based in New York, London and San Francisco. He has a wealth of experience in financial services, big data and consumer products. He has an extensive background in branding, product and new business development, which he has leveraged to assist start-up companies from Estonia in Silicon Valley. Mati began his career in packaged-goods marketing working for premier advertising agencies and corporations in New York, working his way up to become General Manager for Fortune 500 agencies anchored in San Francisco. One of Mati’s career highlights includes working with Steve Jobs launching Apple into the broadcast medium.

Mati has his MBA from the University of Southern California.
