Sample Sessions – Live Remix Workshop with Erik Laar

Dig for samples in the VEMU archives and learn to perform a remix with Ableton Live!

Want to learn more about DJing and get the chance to work with a pro in the know, all for FREE? Between the ages of 16-30? Erik Laar’s Live Remix & sampling workshop is the place for you, we’re connecting the old and the new in exciting ways. You even get the opportunity to showcase your production in a final gig up on stage to a live audience! Thursday nights in March and April are where it’s at, featuring in-studio sessions with Erik + bonus access to Off Centre DJ School’s in depth online production course. To participate you will require your own laptop and Ableton software which can be downloaded with the free 90 day trial. We also can provide enrollment letters that give a 40% discount if anyone decides they want to purchase a copy.

Workshop includes:

+1 trip to VEMU archives to find samples

+12 hours of in studio learning at Off Centre DJ School

+ 9 hours of bonus online material for “homework” and prep

+ Final Performance live at Tartu College (date TBD)
