Anne Remmel’s Exhibit “Resonance”

Friday, October 14th to Monday, October 17th, Anne Remmel’s art exhibit Resonance will be on display in the Tartu College Hall. The official opening of the exhibit will be on Friday, October 14th at 6pm, exhibit open until 9pm at Tartu College. The exhibit will be available to view October 14th-17th from 12-5pm.

No admission fee. A small donation would be appreciated.

About the Artist

Anne Remmel is a Canadian born artist of Estonian descent. She has exhibited annually in the Estonian community in Toronto as well as in galleries in the city. Anne has had a life long passion for art and she pursued that passion with studies at the Ontario College of Art and Design and in workshops in the US. Over 200 pieces of her art are held in collections in Canada and abroad.

About the Exhibit

The current exhibition, “Resonance” features two themes: “Music on Canvas” and “Mysteries of Water and Rock.” THe music series explores how to capture moments of musical expression referencing live performances as well as stylized images. While the series “The Mysteries of Water and Rock” is an on-going artistic response to the evocative moods of nature… its stillness, magic and awe-inspiring motion.
